We have different gifts, according the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. Romans 12: 6-8 NIV
Our goal on the Varsity team and within the softball program is to push our players towards Christ. Only by his grace and his power working within us can we accomplish that goal. We will pray. We will pray for and with our players, coaches and fans. We will strive to build relationships on and off the field. We will work hard and sweat each day we practice. We will work at creating team unity, and a place where our players, their families and our coaching staff share life together. We will teach self discipline, sacrifice and servant leadership. We will speak the truth of God’s word over our teams, as well as live it out with them. We will encourage them in their strengths and push them in their weaknesses. We will laugh often. We will rejoice in victories and defeats, because we know our ultimate goal is service to Christ. Our coaching staff looks forward to the great works Christ will do through our teams this season.
